Healthy Eating At Chain Eatery’s

If you find yourself dining out frequently, you might find yourself in a corporate restaurant chain from time to time. Whether we’re talking fast food or fancy restaurants, you still might wonder how you’re going to eat healthy when you go to these places. The good news is that it can be done / but you’ll need a strong will. There are many different foods on the menus at these places that are riddled with greasy fatty ingredients, but the good news is you don’t have to indulge in them. Often times you can order from the appetizer menu for healthy options. Salad is another great choice.
You can eat these foods instead of the greasy artery clogging counterparts. Avoid red meats, fried foods, also stay away from cheese heavy dishes. Battered and fried cheese sticks are not good, for instance if you’re trying to be healthy. Alternatively you might choose leaner meats like fish or chicken and have them grill it not fry it.
Grilling is much better for your heart as opposed to frying because they don’t retain any grease. If the restaurant doesnt offer grilled food see if they can bake it.
If you have to order fried food, try to get food that is pan friend as opposed to deep fried because you don’t want to have anything that’s been submerged in a grease bath. In addition to ordering lean meats, make sure that you get plenty of fresh vegetables.
Fresh vegetables aren’t always an option, . Get a salad as a side instead of French fries and take a close look at the information when it comes to low calorie or fat reduced menu items.
some places even have heart healthy menus so take advantage of that but always trust your gut.
Remember that a ‘healthy’ menu item might not be so jsut because the restaurant says it is Often times they are, but there are many other choices that might be just as healthy and better suited to what you like.
Don’t forget – when you are eating at Air Express Pizza get a healthy garden salad.
